Built by a squash coach, for any racket sport

No more “is Tuesday still on?”Your players book. The app reminds them.

Put a poster on the club wall, or the link in your WhatsApp group. Players pick an hour you’re free and get a reminder the day before. There’s nothing for you to send.

  • Free for 30 days
  • No card needed
  • Cancel any time

Then £15 a month, or £12.50 a month billed yearly (£150).

An A4 poster headed Book a lesson with the coach’s name, a QR code, three lines about the coach and a phone number.
The booking page for one venue on a phone: the days ahead, each with its price and lesson length, and the free times to tap, with the taken ones marked booked.

How it works

Set it up once. Lessons arrive three ways. Everyone’s reminded.

  • Your regulars

Booked in automatically, a month ahead. Nobody has to do a thing.

  • Players book themselves

From the poster on the club wall, or the link in your WhatsApp group.

  • Someone rings you

Add the lesson in seconds. It won’t let you double-book.

Everyone gets a reminder the day before

An email 24 hours before, with the time, the venue and a link to cancel if they cannot make it.

Where it comes from

Made on court, not in a meeting

I coach squash every week, so I built Coach Diary to solve my own problems. Every lesson I teach runs through it. It exists because the same problems kept coming back. A regular would forget it was Tuesday. A court I’d paid for would sit empty. Money I was owed would live only in my head. And those were just a few of them.

Every feature is there because I needed it as a working coach, not because booking software is supposed to have it. I rely on it every week, and I keep improving it. If something you need is missing, tell me — I might well build it.

A look around

Built around the way a coaching week actually runs

The booking page

Players book themselves, from any phone

Each club gets its own page. Players pick a free slot from any phone, with no account to make.

The reminder

The day before, every player is reminded

Twenty-four hours before, every player gets an email, and one tap cancels if they can’t make it.

The poster

A poster on the noticeboard does the marketing

One A4 poster per club, with your words, your number and a QR code that opens that club’s page.

Regulars

Your weekly players, booked in without the admin

Tap a slot and pick the player. Their lessons are booked a month ahead, reminders included.

The money picture

Know who has paid and what a venue really earns

Mark who has paid and what each court cost you, then see what every club really earns. The app records money; it never takes any.

Everything it does

The full list, in plain words

It suits any coach who teaches one person or a small group at a set time — padel, tennis, badminton, pickleball, or anything else played on a court.

Your week

Set once, then it fills itself.

  • Weekly times per venue, with length, price and places
  • Group sessions — set the places, players book their own
  • Time off for holidays and matches, or one slot at a time

Bookings

The part that keeps working while you are on court.

  • A booking page for each venue
  • Printable QR posters naming your sport, with your photo, number and words — different for each club if you like — drawn as you type
  • Add a lesson by hand when someone rings — it won’t let you double-book yourself at two clubs

Regulars

The same players, every week, without writing them out again.

  • Weekly players booked in automatically, a month ahead
  • Regulars get the same 24-hour reminder
  • Two regulars on one slot, the price shared between them

Money

A record of it. The app never handles any.

  • Mark who has paid you — on which day, and by which of your own methods
  • Earnings added up over any range, by venue, lesson type and how you were paid
  • Tell players how to pay you, in every confirmation and reminder

Players

Booking never needs an account. Their own page is there if you offer it.

  • Book and cancel with just a name and email
  • Invite a player to see their history and your shared notes
  • One account for a parent managing several children

Records

What you would otherwise be keeping in your head.

  • Every player on a page of their own, with their lesson history
  • A private note per lesson, shared only if you choose
  • No-shows in one tap, counted for you — never shown to the player

The honest bits

It does not take payments
You mark who has paid; collecting it stays between you and the player.
What it costs you
One plan, monthly or yearly, after a card-free trial. Cancel any time.
Your players don’t have to change anything
Regulars with an email address just start getting a reminder the day before. Anyone who books needs only a name and an email.
There is no app to download
It’s a web page that opens on any phone.
The calendar feed is one-way
Lessons show in your calendar; nothing comes back the other way.
Your diary is backed up every night
A locked copy is made every night, stored separately from the app, and kept for 30 days.

Put next week’s lessons in and see how it feels

Add a venue, your weekly times and your regulars. Their lessons go straight in, and each gets a reminder the day before.

  • Free for 30 days
